Caterer - Mel

This is Mel our Onsite cook. One of the things our visitors love most about staying at the Lodge is the freshly made food.
There is a menu below of options that may be served on your stay.

School Group Catering

This option is for the school groups that stay with us for the night and are off adventuring during the day. Wake up to a continental breakfast then Mel and her team will pack you morning tea and lunch to take with you. We will have dinner and dessert ready for you when your back from your big day.

Full day onsite Catering

This option is for the groups that are onsite for every meal. Meal are served at the following times:

• Breakfast - 8am - 9am - cereal, toast, yogurt, fruit, tea & coffee,

• Morning tea - 10.30am - selection of slices, muffins, fruit, tea & coffee

• Lunch - 12.30pm - as per the menu options

• Afternoon tea - 3pm - selection of slices, muffins, fruit, tea & coffee

• Dinner & Dessert - 6pm

Meal times can be adjusted to fit in with your schedule - Just let us know upon booking!

Self Catering

If you think your up for the challenge of self catering you will find our kitchen has everything you need. See attached list below.
All Self-Catered groups are required to ensure that the person responsible for catering has completed a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and all persons working in the kitchen have completed the Food Handler Basics training.
We will need a copy of the kitchen usage form - attached below, along with a copy of your food safety certificates and a copy of your Organisations public liability Certificate of Currency.

There’s also a gas barbecue outside big enough to cater for large groups if all you really want is a nice steak and some snags, feel like cooking beneath the emerging stars and dining al fresco.

The shops in Gerringong are located 1.2kms up the street which include an IGA, butcher and bakery if you need to get supplies or a number of cafes and restaurants if you just feel like some takeaway. See a map below.
